About the Role:
The Immune Oncology Research Institute is seeking a dedicated Diagnostic Access
Coordinator to join our team as part of the Diagnostic Quality Improvement Project
implemented at Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center. This role is essential for
strengthening diagnostic access by coordinating external diagnostic review workflows,
telepathology processes, and case tracking to support timely, accurate, and well-documented
patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate sample collection, packaging, documentation, and international shipment
• Maintain a real-time case-tracking dashboard for externally reviewed cases
• Serve as the main communication link between Yeolyan Center and external diagnostic
centers
• Ensure accurate completion of shipping and consent documentation
• Support telepathology workflows, including case submission, image upload, documentation,
and coordination of case discussions
• Maintain secure records of turnaround times, diagnostic concordance, and corrective actions
• Monitor case flow, identify delays, and escalate workflow challenges to project leadership
• Identify workflow gaps and support continuous quality improvement and long-term process
sustainability
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in medicine, biology, public health, or laboratory sciences
• High level of English proficiency
• Experience in clinical coordination, quality improvement, or laboratory workflows is preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience in effective collaboration with clinical and laboratory teams, including international
partners, will be considered an asset.
