Our fellow Amalya Sargsyan received Master's Degree in Science from the University of Cyprus

Congratulations to our fellow Amalya Sargsyan on earning a Master's Degree in Science (MSc) with a specialization in Precision Medicine in Clinical Practice from the University of Cyprus.

The MSc Programme in Precision Medicine in Clinical Practice is a comprehensive and cutting-edge program offered from the state University of Cyprus, spanning 3 academic semesters, with an option to complete within a maximum of 8 semesters. It encompasses a diverse curriculum totaling 90 ECTS (60 ECTS from courses and 30 ECTS from a thesis). The program comprises eight compulsory modules and an intensive thesis project, each tailored to equip healthcare professionals and biomedical sciences experts with the knowledge and skills needed for the applications of precision and personalized medicine in clinical practice.
Along with academic journey, clinical part included observership at the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Center; the center is home to the newly established Cyprus Cancer Research Institute, engaging in a multitude of clinical trials, state-of-the-art units, and genetic lab.

The program was in collaboration with Europian School of Oncologists (ESO), that provided funding for Amalya's courses.
