Astghik Voskanyan, MD, is the current Head of the Adult Blood Disorders Clinic at the Hematology Center after Prof. R.H.Yeolyan in Yerevan, Armenia. She began her work at the Hematology Center as a hematologist in the adult blood disorders department from 1999 to 2009. From 2009 to 2015, she worked at the Chemotherapy Clinic of Muratsan University Medical Center. Between 2015 and 2020, she worked as a clinical researcher at Heidelberg University Medical Faculty in Germany, focusing on chronic myeloid leukemia. In parallel, she also worked at the palliative and stem cell transplantation departments of the V Medical Clinic at Mannheim University Hospital. In 2020, she returned to Armenia and resumed working at the Hematology Center after Prof. R.H.Yeolyan. Since 2022, she has also been working as a researcher in hematology/oncology at the Immune Oncology Research Institute. She is a co-founder of the Armenian Association of Hematology and Oncology and the City of Smile Foundation, which is the largest cancer charity in Armenia.
