Gayane Davtyan is a Research Assistant at the Immune Oncology Research Institute. She graduated from Yerevan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and is currently specializing in Public Policy Research with a focus on healthcare systems and policy. She has gained international academic and policy experience through work and study engagements in the United States, the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, and other European countries.
She has professional experience collaborating with the Ministry of Health of Armenia, particularly within the Public Health Department. She currently serves as a Specialist at the National Center for National Health Accounts and Healthcare System Performance Assessment of the Academician S. Avdalbekyan National Institute of Healthcare. In this capacity, she contributed as a co-author of Armenia’s Healthcare System Performance Assessment (HSPA) 2025 report.
Her previous research experience includes indirect involvement in World Health Organization COVID-related programs, IT initiatives focused on child pain reduction, as well as monitoring and evaluation projects in healthcare.
In her role at the Immune Oncology Research Institute, she contributes to ongoing research projects through secondary data analysis, coordination of project activities, identification of funding opportunities, and preparation of competitive research grant applications.
