Dr. Jemma Arakelyan is a medical oncologist passionate about advancing translational oncology and improving global cancer control. She completed her medical oncology training at Yerevan State Medical University in 2019 and further honed her expertise through a cancer research program at Harvard Medical School in 2021. In 2025, she earned her Ph.D. in anticancer drug discovery from the City University of Hong Kong.
Beyond her academic and clinical pursuits, Dr. Arakelyan serves as the CEO of the Institute of Cancer and Crisis, an organization dedicated to raising awareness and providing support for cancer patients facing critical situations such as war, pandemics, and other humanitarian emergencies.
